bitter but SWEET.!

.. formR world JR lightweight boxing champion Rocky Lockridge was recently featured on A&E's Emmy award winning show "Intervention.." while the show was being shot, Lockridge was addicted to crack & alcohol.. but for the past 6mths he has been RECOVERING and also trying to build a relationship with his 2 sons, whom he went 15yrs without seeing.. recently, Lockridge was interviewed and had this 2 say.. "i'm cleanR now then i ever was, even during my time in the fight game.. the show & my rehabilitation went sensationally well.. if i hadn't had a stroke i might get me another title shot, as good as i feel.." soo.. from the looks of it.. erythings lookin up rite now & i must say im happy for the family that felt the show was their last hope.. & for the champ who is now off the streets and feeling betR then he has in a while.!

..now i hate to show u guys something funny about this situation but i have 2.. i mean the mans feeling way betR now & is CLEAN so i figured y not.. soo here it is.. alil video footage from the "intervention" episode.. listen to this mans cry.. PLEASE..!!

.. yesterday ryanHOWARD signD a contract extension for 5yrs worth 125MILLION dollars in guaranteed money.! this was the contract that howard had been waiting on for his entire career & 2 received it at age 30.. an age in which he probably doesn't have all that much good baseball left in him.. talk about #ForTheWin.. this is a BIG WIN for howard & his agent.. & not 2 say that this is at all a loss for the Philies.. i hope ryanHOWARD never falls off & they get all their moneys worth.. & oh yeah --------> GOOOO YANKEES.!!!!!!!!!

.. 2day brandonMARSHALL was traded to the miami dolphins & became the highest paid wide receiver in NFL history.! the contract that was agreed upon is a 4yr contract for 47.5million, which includes 24million in guaranteed money.! there's aLOT of money involved here but its money well deserved.. b.marshall is a hard working, productive playR that has had 3 consecutive 1oo catch seasons & the receiver also broke the record for the most catches in a game with 21 in a loss 2 the colts this past season.. b.marshall has been known to get into some off the field trouble but most of which was cause by himself due 2 not receiving a new contract.. now that he's getting the money that he wanted, i look forward to seeing him have a gud season in miami.!

VIRGINIA is a very historic state indeed .! i am PROUND to have lived here & also to have been educated here so that im fully aware of what has taken place in this state.. i may not agree with EVERYthing thats happened here.. Yet, i understand that its HISTORY & without our history who's to say where this state would be 2day.! the confederates fought for their homes, communities and the Commonwealth.! they fought for what they believed in & what they called theirs.. & theres nothing wrong with that AT ALL..!! on the other hand.. the confederates believed HEAVLY in slavery.. which is a BIG no no.! & due 2 their strong belief in slavery, most of them are racist.! so naturally as an AFRICAN american, i dnt like confederates.. lOl.. i mean i fully understand the history & i respect that its what got us to where we are today.. BUT even to me having not being brought up during that time i grin every time i c a confederate flag.. SOOO YESSSS..!! the african american community understands why governor bobMcDONNELL declared APRIL 2010 as confederate history month.. but we feel like we've been left out.. like what about the SLAVES that held down the rich white confederates by working hard on their land, all day, each and everyday, against their own will.. AND what about male slaves that were forced to go 2 war & put their lives on the line while fightin for beliefs they did NOT believe n.? what about them, will they too get a month to b remembered & appreciated.?!!

.. in 1 of the DUMBEST trades i've ever heard of.. yesterday evening, the eagles sent donovan mcnabb to the redskins in exchange 4 a 2nd round pick this yrs draft.. oh yea.. & i cant 4get the 3round pick for next yrs draft that the eagles also received.. first off in my opinion mcnabb is worth WAAAAAAAY more then that.. & 2nd, the eagles starting QB is now kevin cobb.. whom im sure 80% of non-eagle fans haven't even heard of.. & then last they trade a man with sooo much talent left to a team in their division.. which means the eagles will b playing against mcnabb & the redskins 2ce a year.. jus last year the man was a probowlR.. idk.. to me this jus seems like a MAJOR win for the redskins & a BIG loss for the eagles.!

.. one things 4sure.. these 2 will not b hugN all that much anymore.. as MCNABB is sure 2 come in & steal the redskins starting quarterback job from jasonCAMPBELL for this up & coming season.!
